Fern After some research, I discovered Swann Morton also offer a blade remover for around 100 blades, but like the Qlicksmart device, it’s on the pricier side. These seem tailored for medical settings rather than general use. The devices you shared might be more suitable for a school setting; they’ve worked well for me in the past. Ultimately, it depends on how frequently you change blades. If you change them regularly, they could be worthwhile.
For occasional blade changes, mastering the ‘T’ technique for safe removal might suffice. Once the blade is out, it’s easy to dispose of in a sharps bin or wrap it in paper/cardboard before tossing it in regular waste.
